Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for a Part-Time Federal Work Study ¿ Student Assistant to help in the Department of Nursing on the Macon Campus.

Job Summary
Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for a Part-Time Federal Work Study ¿ Student Assistant to help in the Department of Nursing on the Macon Campus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operations of running the office (answering phones, filing, making copies, distributing mail, assisting walk-ins, manning front desk, etc.)
- Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and community members.
- Direct and/or answer general questions regarding the nursing department.
- Organize and replenish daily front-desk forms, pamphlets and bulletins.
- Distribute mail to faculty/staff mailboxes.
- Participate in special events as needed.
- Assist Chair, Faculty and Administrative Assistance with special projects.
- Must be currently enrolled student at Middle Georgia State University with a minimum of 6 credit hours.
- Must have GPA of at least 2.0.
- Must be awarded Federal Work Study.
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
- Knowledge and customer service principles and practices.
- Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.
- Oral and communication skills.
- Must be highly organized, disciplined, dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and flexible.
