Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience or familiarity with Computer Aided Facility Management (CAFM) software. FMD uses Assetworks AIM. Familiarity with FICM (Facilities Inventory and Classification Model) standards Familiarity with Oracle. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and ArcGIS software is desired. Ability to write SQL and/or Python code is desirable. Ability to read construction drawings, and construction closeout documents are desired. Knowledge of buildings and building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire protection) is desirable.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for assisting in collecting, maintaining, analyzing, and distributing data related to buildings and other facilities associated with the University of Georgia.
The collected data is used by the University’s administrative branch for reporting purposes, space utilization analysis, and to support facility related policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Update departmental occupancy, room use, and program classification using Postsecondary Education Facilities Inventory and Classification Manual (FICM) standards for the Building, Room and all other fields.
- Updating building and room square footage.
- Audit data in AiM for accuracy.
- Correct any data errors in AiM and Oracle Tables.
- Manage review and correction of data discrepancies between room use code and number of stations, wrong CIP code, invalid room codes, etc.
- Prepare the prescribed Facility Inventory data to be sent to the Board of Regents.

- Determine new building numbers by considering number series and location codes used
- Verify all aspects of the project for any additional data that might be necessary.
- Review addresses.
- Check physical addresses and contact ACC (Athens Clark County) to determine address for any new buildings on campus. Assist with updating lease information

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage Facilities Inventory data and coordinated floor plans to develop program review packets.
- Manage the preparation of reports of all buildings by Name, Number and Address to be sent to specific recipients on campus.
- Compile Facility Inventory data for peer institution comparison according to survey requirements.
- Provide departmental reports with requested information, including but not limited to lists of buildings or rooms based on specific criteria.
Update building floor plans using AutoCAD:
- Complete site visits
- Measure changes
- Maintain floor plan drawings to exiting conditions
- Prepare and link floor plans using AiMCAD.
- Update and maintain the Emergency Response PDFs.
- Use AutoCAD drawings to determine square footage for comparison to AiM. Update and maintain ArcGIS maps: create basic maps using ArcGIS Pro.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Contact satellite campuses and Cooperative Extension offices via phone and email for corrections or additions.
- Contact UGA departments and other sources to collect Facilities Inventory data.
- Contact and/or visit experiment stations and other facilities to update the database.
- This task may require travel to offsite UGA locations to obtain facility information for one or more days and nights.
- Maintain the virtual plans room: organize, name, convert files to PDF, and file all electronic documents including all design documents.
- Assist both internal and external customers with locating, scanning, copying, and printing of documents.
- Any other required duties as assigned.
