Organizational Unit Overview

Job Duties:

The Office of Continuing and Professional Education is seeking applications for short-term Instructional Consultants (.74FTE or less) to lead one or more non-credit courses during the year. The Instructional Consultant will develop and/or deliver noncredit continuing education courses. This includes but is not limited to: coordination of course materials, content delivery, collecting attendance sign-in sheets and providing evaluation surveys, providing a copy of the course agenda and course materials 7 days before the course starts.

Contingent upon the availability of funds.

Minimum Education/Experience

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a field related to the course subject matter. All degrees must be from an appropriately accredited institution.

As such, most positions at East Carolina University require employees to live and work in North Carolina (or live within a reasonable daily commuting distance from their duty station) after hire. Candidates should be prepared to relocate within a reasonable, agreed-upon time after an offer of employment has been made and accepted to meet this requirement.
