The referenced salary range represents the minimum and maximum salaries for this position and is based on Johns Hopkins University's good faith belief at the time of posting. - Conduct comprehensive audiologic evaluations, including diagnostic assessments for patients of all ages.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative cochlear implant evaluations, programming, and rehabilitation services.
- Counsel patients and families regarding candidacy, expectations, and outcomes for cochlear implants and other implantable hearing technologies.
- Dispense, fit, and adjust hearing aids and related assistive listening devices, including verification and validation measures.
- Interpret test results and communicate findings to patients, families, and referring providers in a clear, compassionate manner.
- Collaborate with otolaryngologists, speech-language pathologists, and other clinical team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Document patient care in the electronic medical record in accordance with Johns Hopkins University and departmental standards.
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical research, and/or educational initiatives, as appropriate to interest and departmental needs.
