Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a federal work study student in the Center for Global Engagement department on the Dahlonega campus. The CGE Student Worker has the opportunity to work in an international office and gain valuable administrative and marketing experience. Everyday office administrative tasks including manning the front desk and welcoming visitors, answering phone calls and general email inquiries, assisting students with registering for appointments, and facilitating our Abroad 101 presentation to students interested in study abroad. The Student Worker is also in charge of CGE's social media accounts, gathering and creating content, making posts and Instagram stories, and uploading to Meta on a weekly basis. This is a great resume building opportunity for students with a creative side and who enjoy helping others.

Responsibilities
- Administrative tasks including manning our front desk, welcoming visitors, answering phone calls and emails to our general account
- Assisting students with registering for appointments, decorating our bulletin boards, and making copies.
- Social media related tasks include gathering, creating, and uploading content into our Meta account such as Instagram story reels and posts up to 4 times per week.
- For general administrative tasks, in office training will be provided.
- Knowledge of how to use Canva to create marketing materials and how to create story reels and posts in Instagram is preferred.
- Must be enrolled at the University of North Georgia in a minimum of six (6) credit hours to qualify as a student worker.
