Advertised Job Summary:
The Business Coordinator will be an integral member of the School of Music administrative team. Reporting to the Asst. Dean for Finance, responsibilities include travel processing, purchasing, accounts payable and receivable for the School of Music.
Job Related Minimum Required Education And Experience:
Process travel for approximately 50 School of Music faculty members, guest artists, and students as needed; complete transactions in accordance with BUSF 1.00 in the submission of required documentation. Work closely with the School of Music Asst. Dean of Finance to ensure funds are allocated and approved. Assist with payment requests, check requests and deposits.

Job Related Minimum Required Education And Experience:
- Typically holds a high school diploma or GED. Requires 3 or more years of job related experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business preferred.
- Knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, USC policies and procedures related to accounting, purchasing, office management, records management, and administrative operations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to understand, edit, and create complex spreadsheets, along with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe products.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively in a team-oriented environment.
