General Summary Of Position
Under the direction of the Dean of Engineering, this position provides day-to-day oversight and strategic development of the College’s graduate degree programs, including interdisciplinary initiatives. This position is also responsible for the day-to-day administration of the College’s research programs and portfolio, including interdisciplinary initiatives in these areas. As part of the College’s senior leadership team, the position also provides input and support to the Dean in areas involving faculty and personnel, strategic planning, course development, administrative management, and other functions necessary for the College’s growth, development, and effective operation.
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
Education: Ph.D. Tenured professor at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor with experience in securing research funds from external sources and advising graduate students and/or post-doctoral associates. Strong communication skills, ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with diverse groups.
Additional Considerations
Management and administrative experience preferred. Professional experience with project management, strategic planning, program development, budget development & administration, and external relations.

This position is benefited, full-time and non-unit in grade P25. Anticipated salary based on rank and qualifications of faculty member who is selected. 30% pensionable stipend for this 12-month position added to the base salary. For full professor, maximum salary (with stipend) approved is not to exceed $230,000 - $240,000.
