Job Summary
The Department of Computer Science within the School of Computing at Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for an Assistant Professor of Computer Science. This is a ten-month tenure track which involves teaching, scholarship, and service.
Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities will be at the undergraduate programs. Candidates should be able to teach a variety of CS cores and elective courses within the CS program (https://www.mga.edu/computing/computer-science/). Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening classes. Travel between campuses (Cochran, Dublin, Macon and Warner Robins) will be required. Online teaching experience is required. In addition to teaching, job requirements include service to the institution; an active research and scholarly activities leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals.

PhD or equivalent in Computer Science or computing related disciplines.
Other Required Qualifications
Reasonable record of teaching and scholarship that warrants appointment at the rank of assistant professor.
