Essential Duties/Responsibilities:Student Recruitment & Relationship Building
- Represent Juniata College at high schools, college fairs, receptions, and other recruitment events
- Conduct engaging information sessions and individual interviews with prospective students and families
- Build and maintain relationships with students from diverse backgrounds and experiences, from initial inquiry through enrollment
- Communicate professionally via phone, email, and mail to guide students through the admission process
- Develop and execute individual and team recruitment plans for assigned territories
- Work collaboratively toward college-wide enrollment goals
- Review applications holistically, applying admission standards with equity and care
- Network with alumni, faculty, staff, and community partners to expand recruitment reach
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong presentation abilities
- Commitment to liberal arts education and understanding of higher education
- Ability to build authentic relationships and work both independently and collaboratively
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to treating all individuals with dignity and respect
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and video-conferencing platforms
- Goal-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license, clear of major violations
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Willingness to travel regularly for recruitment activities
Supervision Required/Given

Physical Demands
- Ability to focus on computer-based work for extended periods (2 hours)
- Capability to move between buildings and venues at recruitment events
- Ability to transport recruitment materials (up to approximately 25 lbs.)
