Position Summary: The Adjunct Assistant Professor, EMS, is responsible for facilitating class lectures, labs,
and clinical instruction of adult college students and/or high school students for EMR
and/or EMT ( EMS121, 128, 131,133 and 140) initial courses of instruction.
Required Qualifications: 2-years of full-time EMS transporting experience (or equivalent experience)
Kansas EMT certification
Associates Degree, Candidate must attach PDF of unofficial transcripts when applying for consideration
Preferred Qualifications: 5 Years full-time EMS transporting experience (or equivalent experience)
Kansas AEMT, Paramedic, or RN licensure Candidate must attach PDF of current license when applying for consideration
Bachelor's Degree or higher. (**Required for all section 133 and higher) Candidate must attach PDF of unofficial transcripts when applying for consideration
Kansas EMS I/C certification. BCLS Instructor, ACLS Instructor, PHTLS Instructor. Attach PDF of any current instructor cards
Experience in EMS initial education
Knowledge of instructional methods & teaching experience to deliver content, skills instruction & remediation
