$20 - $25 hourly

The Customer Service Representative I is responsible for delivering accurate service information, processing client requests, managing billing and invoicing, and resolving customer feedback. This role bridges the gap between clients, the sales team, and field operations, ensuring seamless communication and accurate data management.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Promptly and professionally answer incoming phone calls and email inquiries; manage and escalate customer complaints or feedback to supervisors for swift resolution.
• Gather initial project scope details and route high-potential opportunities to sales or operations; proactively support and maintain assigned house accounts to ensure long-term loyalty.
• Create new customer contacts and meticulously maintain records within the CRM; accurately dispatch jobs from the CRM to field personnel.
• Generate, review, and audit service invoices; securely process credit card transactions and apply credit memos; support monthly closing and identify aging accounts receivable (AR) for collection cycles.
• Gather, complete, and upload critical service documentation (including MSAs, profiles, BOLs, and manifests); execute digital and physical filing using standardized company naming conventions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Proven experience in a dedicated customer service, client support, or office administration role.
• Hands-on experience with invoicing, billing data entry, and basic Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for navigating CRM platforms.
• Strong basic math skills (required for accurate invoicing); exceptional verbal and written communication.
• Prior experience in Environmental Services, logistics, or dispatching is highly preferred.
• Must possess a reliable means of Transportation to our Mishawaka, IN offices.
