Insero Talent Solutions is partnering with a rapidly growing national financial services firm on the recruitment of a Retirement Plan Advisor. This position stems from the organization’s continued growth and expansion of its retirement advisory practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven retirement plan professional who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to plan sponsors, retirement committees, and participants. The Retirement Plan Advisor will play a highly visible role supporting clients through all phases of retirement plan management, including fiduciary guidance, plan design consulting, investment oversight, participant education, and ongoing relationship management.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the lead advisor and primary relationship contact for retirement plan clients, maintaining and developing relationships with plan sponsors, retirement committees, and participants.
- Manage a portfolio of retirement plan clients while delivering a high level of proactive client service and strategic guidance across various industries and plan sizes.
- Lead client review meetings and present on key areas including plan performance, fiduciary responsibilities, legislative updates, investment reviews, fee analysis, and participant outcomes.
- Provide fiduciary consulting and plan design recommendations aligned with client goals and objectives.
- Support clients with retirement plan compliance matters and coordinate required annual notices and documentation with external service providers.
- Facilitate retirement plan onboarding, conversions, and implementation activities, including coordination with third-party administrators and investment providers.
- Oversee ongoing plan administration, reporting, issue resolution, and service coordination while ensuring a seamless client experience.
- Develop and deliver employee education and communication programs designed to improve participant engagement, deferral rates, and investment diversification.
- Conduct both group employee education sessions and individual participant meetings.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance related to retirement plan regulations, fiduciary matters, and industry best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex plan and participant issues while coordinating resolution efforts internally and externally as needed.
- Review compliance testing and Form 5500 preparations in partnership with external providers.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional wealth management and advisory services where appropriate.
- Partner collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers to support overall client success.
- Assist with additional projects and initiatives as the organization continues to grow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience within retirement plan consulting, relationship management, fiduciary advisory, or retirement plan administration.
- Strong knowledge of 401(k), 403(b), and qualified retirement plans.
- Experience advising plan sponsors and retirement plan committees on fiduciary and plan design matters.
- FINRA Series 65 license, preferred.
- CPFA and/or QKA designations, strongly preferred.
- Strong presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to navigate complex client situations and provide thoughtful, consultative solutions.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

- High degree of interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across internal teams and departments.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
