Technical
Accounting and Advisory Manager
We
are seeking an experienced Technical Accounting professional to join our
growing Accounting and Advisory team. As a key member of our team,
you'll work with clients across a range of industries, helping them solve a
variety of accounting problems. This role is project oriented and will
contribute to technical accounting research, complex accounting projects,
M&A support and financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate brings
a strong background in large company financial reporting and analysis,
technical accounting and internal controls, and thrives in a high-growth
environment.
What
you will do
- Lead
the research, interpretation, and application of complex technical
accounting guidance for clients related to new business initiatives and
non-routine or judgmental transactions; develop, document, and communicate
accounting conclusions and recommendations.
- Serve
as a trusted accounting advisor to clients by leading the implementation
and reporting of complex transactions, including debt modifications,
revenue recognition, business combinations, and lease accounting.
- Direct
and review the preparation of client financial statements and related
disclosures in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles,
including both public and private company clients.
- Manage
clients audit readiness efforts, including preparation of supporting
schedules, coordinating audit timelines, and serving as the primary point
of contact for external auditors.
- Lead
client engagements related to the adoption of new accounting standards,
including assessing impact, developing implementation plans, and advising
on accounting policies and procedures.
- Key
liaison for client engagements, coordinating directly with client finance
teams and internal partners
- Collaborate
cross-functionally with Audit, Tax, and other Advisory practices to
deliver integrated solutions and identify additional client service
opportunities.
- Support
clients with various accounting projects, including implementing
reconciliations and procedures.
- Assist
with quality of earnings and other due diligence activities. Analyze
financial forecasts, historical earnings, assets and liabilities of target
client. Identify and understand trends, ratios and indicators.
- Perform
special projects and ad-hoc consulting engagements based on client needs.
Requirements
Must
Haves
- 6
years of experience in accounting, including relevant experience in
technical accounting/reporting, with an ideal mix of public accounting
firm and private/publicly traded companies.
- Bachelor’s
degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other relevant or related
field or equivalent experience, CPA is highly preferred.
- Strong
knowledge of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to details.
- Proven
ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced
and data-driven environment.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively
interact with all levels of the organization.
- High energy and enthusiasm,
with a strong commitment to exceeding client expectations.
- Flexibility and openness to
work on a variety of assignments, industries, and roles.
- Ability to learn quickly, make
an immediate impact, and provide value-added service to our clients.

Pay:
In the spirit
of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the base pay range for this
position is $92,000 - $125,000 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is
base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total
rewards package for the position such as eligibility to receive discretionary
spot bonus incentives. This range is a reasonable estimate of the current
salary range for this position. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety
of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications,
and/or education and geographic location. It is not typical for a
candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and
compensation decisions are dependent on the capabilities and experience of the
candidate. Incentives, if any, depend on various factors, including, without
limitation, individual and firm performance.
