Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Power Gen Field Technician and Operator located throughout TX. The role involves day-to-day tasks such as operating and maintaining power generation equipment, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, conducting routine inspections, responding to any abnormalities in asset performance to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations, and ensuring operational efficiency of power solutions.
You'll be required to maintain a daily operational log with the team and maintain accurate records of operations and maintenance activities. Rig ups and rig downs are physically demanding, you'll need to be physically able to work on uneven surfaces, maneuver in and out of tight spaces, climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the shift work as well as be physically able to lift or move up to 40lbs. This role requires attendance at a remote worksite. Must be available to travel domestically with a rotating schedule.
Qualifications
- An understanding of standard safety precautions within the power industry
- Experience in operating and maintaining power generation equipment
- Knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems
- Ability to conduct routine inspections and ensure operational efficiency
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Able to safely operate and maintain equipment during a 12 hour work shift that will include days or nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must possess a valid U.S driver's license/clean driving record
