Location: Roselle, NJ (Hybrid)
Compensation: $22.52–$24.00 per hour

We’re looking for a dedicated and outgoing Employment Specialist to join our team and make a real impact. This is your chance to help individuals explore careers, develop job skills, and find fulfilling employment opportunities that foster independence and purpose.
What You’ll Do
As an Employment Specialist, you’ll play a key role in guiding participants along their career journey by:
- Supporting individuals through career exploration and job matching.
- Leading group and one-on-one sessions on job readiness, interview preparation, and workplace success.
- Partnering with local employers and DVR counselors to create and maintain employment opportunities.
- Developing and managing Trial Work Experience (TWE) placements in the community.
- Providing on-site job coaching and follow-up to ensure long-term success.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, progress reports, and participant records.
- Representing Inroads with professionalism and compassion — every day.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Vocational Rehabilitation, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interviewing skills to help participants identify their strengths and goals.
- Strong organizational skills and a passion for empowering others to achieve success.
- Valid NJ Driver’s License with a good driving record.
