Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality speech-language pathology services across various rural healthcare settings.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders related to speech, language, voice, fluency, cognition, and swallowing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and established goals.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to support communication and swallowing safety.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies, safety considerations, and home programs.
- Adapt smoothly to new clinical environments, interdisciplinary teams, and patient populations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches to optimize functional outcomes.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program (or anticipated degree).
- Current SLP license (or eligibility) in at least one state we serve; willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
- Strong adaptability and comfort working in diverse healthcare environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to delivering patient-centered care and clinical excellence.
- Interest in rural healthcare and supporting rehabilitation teams across multiple communities.
- Willingness to travel and complete short-term assignments.
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
