InReach Healthcare – Ophthalmology is excited to announce an opening for a Logistics / Warehouse Specialist in Cedar Falls, Iowa.The Logistics / Warehouse Specialist is an important member of our team, responsible for ensuring ophthalmology equipment and supplies are properly prepared, organized, transported, and ready for surgical procedures. This role plays a critical part in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our ophthalmology services and helping ensure healthcare professionals have the equipment and materials needed for successful surgery days.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and comfortable managing a variety of logistical and warehouse responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Coordinate the transportation of ophthalmology equipment and supplies needed for surgical operations.
- Prepare, organize, and ensure the availability of all supplies and equipment prior to procedures.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials to and from delivery areas, surgery centers, and storage facilities.
- Conduct rigorous inventory management to maintain accurate records and stock levels.
- Prioritize warehouse organization and uphold cleanliness standards to sustain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Maintain active communication with the surgical and administrative teams to guarantee procedure preparedness and operational efficiency.
- Adhere to established safety procedures and compliance protocols to mitigate risks and uphold the highest standards of workplace safety and healthcare compliance.
- Proven organizational skills with a heightened attention to detail.
