We focus on each individual's unique needs and deliver the highest quality services possible by ensuring that each individual receives the right support, at the right time and frequency by a caring qualified staff member in the most independent setting appropriate.
What We Need
The Community Coach provides the support necessary to assist an adult with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in a variety of community activities. Activities may be in the individual's home, community, or work site in the Charlotte area.
Qualifications And Licensing Requirements
Rate: $17.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time 29 hours per week
Location/Travel: Charlotte and surrounding areas within zip codes 28208, 28207

Qualifications And Licensing Requirements
- One-year Supported Employment/Job Coach experience working with I/DD & Special populations
- Vocational experience
- A high school diploma or GED required
- Willing to provide customer transportation using your vehicle
- Valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record
- This position requires interaction with a pet cat in the individuals' home*
Rate: $17.00 per hour
Job Type: Part-Time 29 hours per week

What You'll Do
- Work one-on-one to provide support at work and activities in the Charlotte area
- Help customers on-the-job, job coaching
- Documentation of work and activities
- Assist customer with activities such as going to the gym, making dinner, shopping at stores, medical appts, attending committee meetings, etc.)
- Help customers explore new things, pursue their interests, & help with socialization
- Responsible to oversee customer participation in activities as described in the goal plan
- Maintain the health and safety of everyone
- Provide reliable transportation
- Maintains credentials (training)
- Assure confidentiality
