We are currently seeking a hands-on and motivated Manufacturing Supervisor in our Jointmaster division to lead our Distribution Center, Fabrication, and Fireline operations.
In this role, you’ll oversee daily production activities, support continuous improvement initiatives, and help drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery performance. This position is ideal for a strong manufacturing leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys developing teams while improving processes.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise daily operations and manufacturing employees across Jointmaster DC, Fabrication, and Fireline
- Support production activities and work directly in production as needed
- Assist with implementation and development of new products and manufacturing processes
- Develop and monitor production schedules to meet customer and operational demands
- Ensure quality standards, safety requirements, and on-time delivery goals are achieved
- Train, coach, and support employees to promote growth and accountability
- Partner with the Plant Manager to drive continuous improvement initiatives that maximize capacity and reduce costs
- Assist with material ordering and inventory coordination
- Act as a liaison between leadership and production employees
- Foster a positive, team-oriented, and motivational work environment
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Identify and report safety concerns or operational risks
- Support tactical and operational goals aligned with company objectives
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience
- Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety requirements, and quality standards
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced production environment
- Hands-on mindset with the ability to support operations where needed
Position Authority & Leadership Responsibilities
This role has the authority to:
- Stop production for quality or safety concerns
- Adjust production schedules and machine assignments as needed
- Direct workforce assignments and delegate responsibilities
- Conduct interviews, employee reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Participate in hiring and termination decisions alongside the Plant Manager
- Approve product deviations according to established procedures
- Support overtime scheduling when necessary with Plant Manager approval
