What are the responsibilities and job description for the Installer position at Inpro US/CAN?
Location: Orlando, FL | Travel: ~60% overnight, including occasional weekends
What You'll Do
- Install Inpro products at job sites, working in tandem with the Interiors Site Supervisor
- Coordinate with the Interiors Installation Manager on logistics and customer information
- Operate a forklift to load and transport product
- Manage your own schedule and prioritize tasks across job sites
- Travel regularly, including some weekends
You'll also:
- Perform finishing, sanding, grinding, and fabrication work to meet quality standards
- Follow proper protocols for handling hazardous chemicals
- Flag damaged or scratched material to your supervisor
- Help uphold ISO standards and keep the warehouse in good shape
- Pitch in on other duties as needed
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Comfort reading a tape measure and other measuring tools; solid math aptitude
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Good judgment and the ability to make decisions and follow through independently
- A track record of dependability and professionalism, even under deadline pressure
- Comfort working with minimal supervision
How This Role Fits In
You'll report to the Interiors EN Installation Manager and work closely with the Interiors Site Supervisor day to day. You'll also interact with corporate departments as needed and communicate directly with customer contacts to coordinate installations — so representing the company well matters.
