GENERAL SUMMARY:
Schedule: Part Time Rotating Shifts - 20 Hours a week
Location: Warren
Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.

PRINCPLE DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:
Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the Pharmacy department.
Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds. Repackage bulk medications.
Receive and store incoming supplies.
Triage incoming calls and serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
- -OR- Associate's degree/Technical degree
- -OR- 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in retail or inpatient setting preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
- Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- PTCB certified or nationally certified preferred.
