GENERAL SUMMARY:
Schedule: Full Time - Monday through Friday from 7am to 3:30pm may require extra hours outside of those listed depending on department needs.
Location: Warren
Supervises the daily activities of the pharmacy staff. May perform the duties of a pharmacist.

PRINCPLE DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES:
Schedules and assigns daily work assignments for pharmacy staff.
Trains, coaches, and evaluates associates on performance expectations, and applies progressive discipline when appropriate. Participates in hiring and termination procedures within span of control.
Acts as liaison between department and other hospital departments, physicians and external customers in matters relating to pharmacy operations.
Collaborates with other disciplines to ensure that procedures and policies comply with organizational, federal, state and Board of Pharmacy rules and regulations.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy require.
- Pharmacist license credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 3 years of Hospital experience required, leadership experience preferred.
- USP Sterile Compounding Board Certification preferred or obtained within a year of hire.
