Job Description:

We are looking for Targeting Officers, at all levels, to join our intelligence program supporting a key government sponsor in Northern Virginia. As a targeting officer, you will collaborate with intelligence professionals to support operations against priority targets. Additional support will include identifying targeting leads to enable a variety of intelligence operations. Successful candidates will be able to produce detailed targeting packages.

This posting is for multiple opportunities ranging in years of experience. All positions require possession of a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Applicants will be evaluated and placed in a level from 2-5 based off their experience and customer feedback after multiple assessments.

• Review specialized data for intelligence leads

• Draft comprehensive targeting packages in support of the client's objectives

• Engage a variety of stakeholders to address requirements and develop new leads for exploitation

• Conduct detailed searches on items of interest and relay pertinent data to relevant customer components in a variety of written and briefing formats.

• Use customer collection platforms to identify and reduce intelligence gaps in the pursuit of tactics and operations.

• Create, read, and process all-source intelligence, including the ability to conduct research, analysis, and reports from all disciplines (HUMINT, SIGINT, and technical data).

The Targeting Officer shall possess the following capabilities:

• Proficiency in manipulating various databases in support of the customer mission

• Experience related to intelligence research and targeting work is required

• Prior experience in supporting national security operations

• Familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives

• Demonstrated ability to research and analyze

• Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize effectively

• Demonstrated ability to work on several tasks concurrently

• Strong analytic writing and editing skills

• Demonstrated ability to work in team environment successfully

• Experience collaborating and coordinating with multiple offices and agencies

• Experience supporting senior decision makers

Qualifications:

• Level 2

  • Three (3) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree

• Level 3

  • Seven (7) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree

• Level 4

  • Twelve (12) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree

• Level 5

  • Twenty (20) years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree

Five (5) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for a college degree

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.

Pay Range: Competitive
