Position Summary

The C-Tag Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining C-frame (C-tag) presses to support production and finishing operations. This role ensures high-quality output, efficient production, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate C-tag (C-frame) press equipment, including tooling and die changes
• Monitor production runs to ensure quality standards and specifications are met
• Perform routine adjustments to maintain proper alignment, pressure, and output quality
• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with customer requirements
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
• Follow all company safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating press equipment (C-frame, punch press, or similar) preferred
• Experience with tooling, die setup, and machine adjustments strongly preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and production specifications
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and moving equipment
