About The Role
The Press Helper plays a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of printing presses within a manufacturing or production environment. This position is responsible for assisting press operators by preparing materials, monitoring equipment, and ensuring smooth workflow throughout the printing process. The Press Helper contributes to maintaining high-quality output by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting minor issues, and adhering to safety protocols. This role requires close collaboration with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain consistent product standards. Ultimately, the Press Helper helps optimize press operations to support overall production goals and customer satisfaction.
Shift: 1st Shift 9am-5pm Monday-Friday
Minimum Qualifications
The Press Helper uses mechanical skills daily to assist in setting up and maintaining printing presses, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Attention to detail is critical when monitoring print quality and identifying any issues that may arise during production. Communication skills are essential for coordinating with press operators and other team members to maintain workflow and meet deadlines. Physical stamina and dexterity are regularly applied when handling materials and performing maintenance tasks. Additionally, problem-solving skills help the Press Helper address minor equipment malfunctions promptly, minimizing downtime and supporting overall productivity.

Minimum Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Previous experience in a printing or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with printing press equipment and terminology.
- Basic troubleshooting skills related to mechanical equipment.
- Certification in workplace safety or equipment operation.
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist press operators in setting up and preparing printing presses for production runs.
- Load paper, ink, and other necessary materials into the press according to specifications.
- Monitor press operations to detect and report any malfunctions or quality issues promptly.
