Our client located in Cleveland, OH is looking for an Inventory Coordinator! Hours are M-F from 8am-4:30pm. Optional half days on Saturday.This is a direct hire!Summary:This position is responsible for managing the receipt, documentation, and storage of incoming materials, maintaining inventory accuracy through the inventory management system and staging inventory for daily production.Responsibilities:Comply with company safety, environmental and operational policies and proceduresUnload shipments from inbound trucks and package delivery servicesVerify shipments are in good condition and packing slips match the part and quantity received. Provide essential documentation to Assistant Plant ManagerStore all parts in the appropriate warehouse area after they have been receivedPull inventory from the warehouse and stage it at designated plant locations for daily production requirementsAssist with inventory cycle countsWork Environment: The work environment is an indoor factory with occasional outdoor work to meet delivery/shipping vehicles and/or retrieve inventory from adjacent storage areas.Physical Demands: The position requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling and lifting for prolonged periods of time. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.Education, Experience and Key Competencies:High school degree or GED equivalent requiredMinimum of three years’ experience in inventory management/receiving in an industrial settingMinimum of two years’ Forklift operation experienceStrong organizational and analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in inventory management systemsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentThis position is subject to successfully completing and passing a pre-employment drug screen, background check and physical examination.
