Inova Health System is seeking a Staffing Scheduling Coordinator to join the team! This role is PRN/on call or as needed typically 12 hour shifts working nights, weekends and holidays as needed by the department.
Requirements for consideration:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year of relevant office experience in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities included but not limited to:
- As the Staffing Scheduling Coordinator, you will e nsure the appropriate and consistent staffing levels throughout the Inova Health System.
- Provides support to CNO’s, Department Directors, elevated users and team members throughout the Inova Health System in maximizing the use of the Smart Square scheduling software.
- Contributes to analyzing and providing crisis support for critical staffing shortages throughout the Inova Health System within Smart Square to identify opportunities of staffing improvement and optimization.
- Learns and maintains a level of knowledge of the Smart Square application that allows the applicant to function efficiently and competently in everyday system staffing matters as well as helping team members and leaders throughout the Inova Health System with Smart Square related questions and issues.
- Learns and maintains a level of knowledge of the Smart Square application that allows the applicant to function efficiently and competently in everyday system staffing matters as well as helping team members and leaders throughout the Inova Health System with Smart Square related questions and issues.
- Decision making that is consistent with policy, process, and strategy using scheduling metrics.
- Provides orientation and training for new staffing schedulers and coordinators as appropriate.
- Supports additional projects and duties as assigned.
Additional Information : This position is currently located at Cambridge Court but will be moving to the Inova ICPH campus
