What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient -HIV/AIDS Clinic position at Inova Health System?
Inova Juniper Clinic is looking for a dedicated RN Outpatient to join the team. .This role will be full-time, day shift Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
Inova Juniper Program is Northern Virginia's largest provider of HIV/AIDS care. We are proud to offer all aspects of primary medical care and mental health, substance abuse and case management services to HIV positive individuals along with a history of delivering compassionate HIV/AIDS clinical and education services.

At any given time, Inova Juniper provides services to about 1,800 active clients.

Outpatient RN Responsibilities:
- Work with cross-disciplinary team to provide holistic care to HIV and LGBTQ patients in an ambulatory care setting.
- Manage and support daily clinic operations, provide direct patient care, and complete required medical documentation.
- Foster supportive, ongoing relationships with patients to promote their ongoing engagement in care.
- Utilize strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Triages patient calls and requests Takes on Resource duties and mentors LPNs
Additional Requirements:
Experience: 0 years of experience. Strongly prefer 1 or more years experience as RN.
Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing . If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
Certification BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification (American Heart Association) required.
Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
