Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. This role is eligible for sign on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified applicants. Full-Time, Evening shift (11am-11pm). During orientation will rotate through all shifts (Days, Mids, and Nights).

ER Nurse Responsibilities:
- Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
- Experienced behavioral health nurses and Overflow unit assist the team in caring for non-emergency patients
- Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
- Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
- Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate's Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- License: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license
- Certification: BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through American Heart Association required
- Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others. Proficient computer skills required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years ED experience strongly preferred
