Inova Fairfax Hospita is looking for a Perioperative Support OR Aide to join the team! This role will be Full-time Day Shift: Monday-Friday, Every Other Weekend, 6:00am - 2:30pm

Perioperative Support Specialist Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains overall environment (e.g. empties trash, cleans spills, removes soiled linens) on a continuous basis.
- Demonstrates an understanding of infection control standards and the knowledge of general cleaning principles according to hospital policy.
- Performs daily re-stocking of designated supply areas including linen, fluid warmers. etc.
- Delivers specimens, blood products, etc.
- Obtains additional supplies and equipment for the nursing staff as needed.
- Safely transfers patients to and from in the Operating Room.
- Additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Years of Experience: No experience required
Certification: American Heart Association Basic Life Support within 3 months
