About the Team:
Our team at Mayo Clinic is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and outcomes. As a Staff RN in our Virtual Nursing Care department, you will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to coordinate care and address health concerns.
This role requires excellent communication skills, as you will interact with patients and healthcare teams through face-to-face visits, telephone triage, and online services. You will also have opportunities to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate care for patients, including monitoring lab results, ordering consultations, and adjusting treatment plans
- Provide personalized education to patients and families on health issues, medication management, and care planning
- Triage patient requests and coordinate non-visit care activities, such as telephone calls and online interactions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including providers, nurses, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Current RN licensure in applicable state
- 2 years of acute direct patient care experience within the last 2 years
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
