Diagnostic Imaging CT Trainee Job Responsibilities:
- The Diagnostic Imaging Computed Tomography Trainee will complete an online certification program to help clinical specialists learn ARRT Cat Scan Structured Education to sit confidently for the CT registry. The certificate program will be paired with hands-on clinical hours teaching the students techniques and procedures vital to becoming a certified CT Technologist.
- Assist in preparing Cat Scan equipment and examination rooms for procedures.
- Perform basic Cat Scans under supervision, following protocols for various body parts and imaging techniques.
- Safely administer starter IV, and correctly utilize the power injector for exams requiring IV contrast.
- Monitor patients during scans and respond promptly to any patient concerns or issues.
- Ensure accurate recording and labeling of images and patient data.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited school of radiography
- Experience: 1 year of clinical working experience or recent graduate of an accredited Radiography program
- Certification:
- Must be certified by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist upon start
- Must obtain CT Certification within 12 months of hire date
