Duties and responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Partnership:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the senior leadership team, aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
- Lead workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational development initiatives to support growth and transformation both domestically and internationally.
- Drive change management and employee engagement efforts across the organization
Talent Management & Development:
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies to build a superior workforce.
- Champion succession planning, leadership development, and career pathing.
- Coach managers on performance management, employee relations, and team effectiveness.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee HR operations including compliance, benefits administration, compensation planning, and HRIS management.
- Ensure accurate headcount forecasting and reporting in partnership with Finance.
- Maintain integrity of HR data and systems (e.g.,UKG Ready).
- Build and manage optimized Human Resources budget.
Culture & Continuous Improvement:
- Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Champion our core values and ensure all decisions, programs and processes are aligned with the company mission and vision.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend data-driven solutions.

Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (EEO, ADA, FMLA, OSHA, etc.).
- Manage workers’ compensation, employee health and safety, and labor relations.
- Coordinate compliance training and policy updates.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the organization’s compensation programs. This includes analyzing industry and market data to determine competitive total rewards packages, developing and administering employee benefits programs, and ensuring compliance with government regulations
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision responsibilities of team members.
- Provide leadership to team members to ensure all department/company goals and objectives are met.
- Provide clear vision, roles and responsibilities for team members and regularly evaluate team member performance against such.
- Communicate and lead corrective actions and changes needed to improve operations and performance.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or HR certification (PHR/SPHR) preferred.
- 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven success managing multi-site and global HR functions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS platform.
- Demonstrated high level of business acumen and knowledge of HR best practices.
- Customer-focused/service partnership mindset.
Physical Requirements:

- This position will be primarily located in an office. Must be able to work at a computer approximately 8 hours per day.
- Some lifting may be required for packing and shipping of boxes, up to 50 lbs.
- Travel up to 20% primarily domestic with some international travel possible.
The Director, Human Resources, will report directly to the CFO. They will be responsible for driving HR excellence across multiple domestic and international sites. As a key member of the leadership team, this role partners closely with business leaders to align people strategies with business goals, foster a high-performing and inclusive culture, and ensure compliance with all employment regulations. This role will be based out of Philadelphia, PA.
