Responsibilities
- Label Rewinding: Operating and maintaining label rewinding equipment to ensure proper roll size, tension, and alignment according to job specifications.
- Die Cutting: Setting up and operating die-cutting machinery to cut labels to the required shapes and sizes precisely. This includes adjusting dies, pressure, and speed for optimal results.
- Waste Removal: Efficiently removing waste material from the die-cutting process, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspecting finished labels for defects, ensuring accurate die cuts, proper winding, and overall adherence to quality standards.
- Counting and Packaging: Accurately counting finished label rolls or sheets and packaging them according to job specifications, including boxing, labeling, and preparing for shipment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting on rewinding and die-cutting equipment, reporting any significant issues to the supervisor.
- Following Job Tickets: Carefully reading and understanding job tickets and specifications to ensure accurate processing of each order.
- Maintaining a Clean Work Area: Ensuring the work area is always organized, clean, and safe.
- Adhering to Safety Procedures: Following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
