| JOB OVERVIEW - FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER |
| Apply your passion for food and your attentive personality to create memorable guest experiences! As a Food and Beverage Manager, your role is to ensure our guests enjoy a quality dining experience that will allow them to be productive and stay strong when they are away from home. Your ability to support the food and beverage department employees through hands on leadership will guarantee an extraordinary food experience for our guests. |
| A TYPICAL DAY: |
| Hire, train, coach, schedule and mentor all food and beverage employees. |
| Support employees and fill in as needed to ensure guests are receiving attentive and efficient service. |
| Proactively engage in conversation with guests, seeking feedback about their stay and their dining experience. Thank them and invite them to return! |
| Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest issues or complaints to their satisfaction. |
| Monitor all food and beverage deliveries for portion control, quality and presentation. |
| Ensure that food handling and safety guidelines are followed, including kitchen logs. |
| Maintain daily cash control and financial reporting for the department. |
| Oversee inventory, ordering and receiving of all food and beverage items. |
| Establish sales promotion efforts to meet or exceed profit objectives while controlling both food and beverage costs. |
| Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments. |
| REQUIREMENTS: |
| Previous food and beverage experience as a Lead Server or Supervisor is required and prior Management experience may be required at some locations. To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type and use basic technology. This job requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift and you also must be able to lift at least 25 pounds. You must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit and Alcohol Server’s Permit. Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays. |

Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
