Role Description: IT Support Technician
As an IT Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing hands-on and remote technical support to our clients. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working directly with people, and handling a variety of technical environments.
You will support desktops, laptops, networks, and cloud-based systems while representing our company with professionalism and care. This position plays a key role in maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring stable, secure IT operations.
Responsibilities
Hardware Support
- Repair hardware, build PCs, and install software confidently.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace computer and laptop components (RAM, SSD, GPU, PSU, motherboards, etc.)
- Assemble and configure new desktop PCs and workstations
- Perform internal cleanings, BIOS updates, and component testing
- Troubleshoot performance or overheating issues
Software Support
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows, macOS, and common applications
- Resolve startup errors, driver issues, and malware infections
- Backup, recover, and transfer customer data safely
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on computer/laptop repair experience (shop or field)
- Strong understanding of Windows OS, hardware diagnostics, and PC building
- Knowledge of macOS and basic networking preferred
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Willingness to learn and grow as technologies evolve
Certifications (preferred but not required):
CompTIA A , Network , or equivalent experience
