JOB SUMMARY The Senior Manager, Patient Recruitment will lead Innovo Research’s centralized patient recruitment strategy across our multi-site, multi-specialty clinical research network serving 6M patients. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing recruitment programs that support study enrollment goals across all 14 practices and over 150 PIs. This leader will manage a team of Patient Recruitment Coordinators, collaborate closely with research directors, site managers and CRCs, to ensure timely, compliant, and patient-centric recruitment. They will be held accountable for meeting overall network enrollment targets and drive continuous improvement in recruitment performance, tools, workflows, and metrics.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a unified patient recruitment strategy aligned with Innovo’s operational goals and sponsor expectations
- Serve as the subject matter expert on patient recruitment best practices, tools, regulations, and performance optimization
- Develop recruitment materials to be IRB approved to optimize recruitment efforts
- Partner with the feasibility/start-up team to assess recruitment potential and guide realistic enrollment commitments during PSV and beyond
- Lead, manage, and mentor Patient Recruitment Coordinators supporting individual sites
- Set clear KPIs, monitor productivity, and ensure consistent patient recruitment workflows across the network
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure high-functioning recruitment operations
- Oversee recruitment operations across all active studies in the network, ensuring enrollment milestones are achieved
- Develop and maintain recruitment dashboards, reports, and tracking systems
- Review daily/weekly enrollment trends and intervene proactively as needed
- Work closely with Site Managers, CRCs, and PI teams to ensure recruitment strategies are executed effectively
- Optimize messaging, outreach, and pre-screening workflows; design and oversee all multi channel recruitment campaigns (EMR mining, email outreach, SMS, call campaigns, community outreach, provider referrals, etc.).
- Create SOPs, workflows, and training materials to standardize recruitment practices across sites.
- Own recruitment KPIs and performance targets across the entire network.
- Ensure transparency of enrollment health across all studies, sites, and therapeutic areas.
- Ensure training documentation is inspection-ready at all times.
Required
- Minimum of 5–7 years of clinical research experience, with at least 3 years in patient recruitment management
- Experience working across a multi-site clinical research network or large physician group strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success driving enrollment performance and hitting recruitment targets
- Deep understanding of patient recruitment best practices and EMR-based recruitment models
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build trust with site staff and PIs
- Data-driven mindset; able to interpret recruitment analytics and actionable insights
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple studies and priorities
- Familiarity with HIPAA, GCP, and human subjects protection regulations
