A fast-growing technology company is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead supplier strategy, logistics, and material flow across North America.
In this role, you will oversee vendor relationships, sourcing, and end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure scalable growth while maintaining cost efficiency and high quality standards.
You’ll partner closely with engineering, operations, and leadership to align sourcing strategies with product development and deployment timelines. This is a hands-on, high-impact role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management & Strategic Sourcing
- Develop and manage a network of suppliers and service providers
- Lead negotiations on pricing, contracts, and commercial terms
- Source hardware components and engineering services aligned with product needs
- Collaborate with vendors to meet technical specifications, quality, and performance standards
Logistics & Operations
- Oversee inbound logistics into the Boston area and outbound distribution across North America
- Optimize freight, warehousing, and delivery for cost, speed, and reliability
- Manage shipping processes, documentation, and third-party logistics partners
Inventory & Operations Management
- Own inventory planning, including spare parts and replenishment strategies
- Maintain efficient and organized shop and storage operations
Cost & BOM Management
- Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drive cost optimization initiatives
- Partner with engineering to balance cost, quality, and performance in sourcing decisions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering teams to interpret drawings and technical requirements
- Support product builds, deployments, and operational scaling initiatives
Qualifications
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations (hardware/manufacturing preferred)
- Proven track record of vendor negotiation and supplier management
- Strong experience with North American logistics and shipping operations
- Familiarity with inventory management and BOM processes
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand hardware systems
- Experience working in a high-growth or startup environment is highly desirable

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $105,000 – $140,000 (dependent on experience and location)
