Summary: The Warehouse Associate plays a key role within the warehouse team at Innovize, a contract medical manufacturer. This position is responsible for shipping, receiving, kitting materials, handling surplus and returned materials, and performing other general warehouse duties in support of production operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in material handling, inventory management, and timely communication to internal teams regarding material availability.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with the accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and inspection of materials.
- Support kitting activities by ensuring all materials are prepared for production two days before scheduled jobs. Communicate any shortages to the relevant parties.
- Manage surplus and returned materials, ensuring accurate restocking in both the warehouse and the ERP system.
- Perform cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies, maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy.
- Assist with training new team members and covering shipping/receiving duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse processes.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Accountabilities:
- Ensure accurate kitting and material availability, meeting production schedules.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and ERP system updates.
- Contribute to on-time delivery goals for customer orders.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained and operational.
- Support the team in achieving warehouse productivity and quality goals.
- Adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
- Meet or exceed attendance, quality, and personal development targets.
Training/Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with shipping/receiving and warehouse operations preferred.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor experience a plus).
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Roll stock and inventory control experience a plus.

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail with data entry and inventory tracking.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance).
