Job Description-:
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, document, and analyze current-state mainframe and distributed batch scheduling environments
- Design and implement an integrated Master Schedule for enterprise batch workloads
- Lead batch scheduling modernization and transformation initiatives
- Identify gaps, risks, and process improvements and define future-state scheduling architecture
- Provide architectural leadership for mainframe batch scheduling (e.g., IZWS) and distributed scheduling (Control-M)
- Collaborate daily with business leaders, application teams, and operations stakeholders
Required Experience & Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with mainframe batch scheduling and Master Schedule design
- Expertise with IBM Workload Scheduler (IZWS)
- Solid background in Control-M architecture in distributed environments
- Proven experience integrating mainframe and distributed scheduling platforms
- Strong communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills
