INNOVIM Defense Services is seeking a Building Information Modeling (BIM) Lead to join our team supporting the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) program at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). INNOVIM supports the development, implementation, sustainment, and operations of enclaves and systems that manage missile defense training, events, analysis, and operations.

The Candidate Will

• Lead a team of BIM modelers and technicians to maintain and enhance all facilities drawings in Autodesk REVIT and AutoDesk AutoCAD.
• This role includes working with IT to gain software approvals for implementation and use as coordinated with Facilities Engineering and Configuration Management leadership.
• Be the subject matter expert regarding MDIOC/Facilities Technical baseline model, and Revit and AutoCAD drafting/modeling tools.
• Be able to effectively coordinate process improvement amongst peers and stakeholders for all baseline updates to the Facilities engineering baselines
• Develop, enhance, and implement REVIT model and design templates.
• Develop, create, and implement training materials including, detail libraries, diagrams, and maintenance of modeled equipment families.
• Continuously develop and maintain modeling standards, process, procedures, and work instructions needed to maintain the MDIOC/Facilities Technical Baseline.
• Ensure compliance with design file outputs in keeping with facility requirements.
• Participate in review meetings with management to ensure timeliness of activities.
• Provide engineering design support to produce CDRL deliverables related to detailed drawings and specifications of facilities systems.
  
  

Basic Requirements

• Must have 6, or more, years of general (full-time) work experience
• May be reduced with completion of advanced education
• Must have 3, or more, years of directly related experience with the functionalities and capabilities of multiple drafting software packages including: Bentley MicroStation, Autodesk AutoCAD, and Autodesk Revit.
• Must have a background working in facility engineering or architectural design as well as a working knowledge of industry standards used in building modeling, drafting and engineering/architectural design.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
  
  

Desired Requirements

• Have experience working with facilities electrical and mechanical systems in a 24/7 Missile Defense Agency (MDA) facility, preferably the MDIOC.
• Have a degree related to building design engineering or building construction.
• Have a Professional Engineering (PE) License
  
  

This position is expected to pay $ 105,000 - $ 120,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
