Innovien Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Records Analyst to join an effort spearheading enterprise-wide records management modernization inside one of the most complex IT environments in the defense and aerospace industry.

About the Engagement
You'll be embedded within a large shared services organization responsible for delivering critical enterprise capabilities — payroll, accounts payable, travel & expense, records management, and accounting — across a multi-division enterprise. The primary focus: work through a large-scale effort to identify which business systems contain official records, document requirements, support end users on records and retention policies, and assist with an eRMS implementation. If you want hands-on experience at enterprise scale, this is it.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience as a Records Analyst, Business Analyst, or Documents Control Analyst in an enterprise-level company
- Experience maintaining records in an eRMS such as SharePoint, Documentum, OpenText, FileNet, or similar platform
- Supporting a Documentum implementation would be a HUGE plus
- Strong understanding of records management, records retention, information governance, or compliance processes
- Experience documenting requirements, processes, workflows, and stakeholder needs
- Ability to research and document applications or systems that contain business records
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain records concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Certified Records Manager (CRM) or Certified Information Professional (CIP)
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Records and Information Management team to support the implementation and adherence to record retention policies and procedures
- Conduct research and analysis to identify and document systems containing business records across the organization
- Maintain and manage the electronic Records Management Systems (eRMS) to ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory standards
- Liaise with cross-functional teams to gather data, validate recordkeeping practices, and address compliance gaps
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs related to records management and retention policies to application owners, employees, and focals
- Stay informed on industry regulations and best practices to recommend improvements to existing processes and tools
- Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, and data governance standards for records management systems
- Provide detailed audits and reporting on record retention timelines, ensuring records are maintained and disposed of in accordance with policy
