Assembly Technician

Innovex is an Oil and Gas company. Assembly Technicians assemble products in a safe & efficient manner while adhering to QMS procedures and work instructions.

Key Activities / Responsibilities:

• Assembles & tests products with use of instructions, procedures, work orders, tools, & materials.
• Reads & follows engineering assembly drawings.
• Performs assemblies and duties in an efficient manner.
• Communicates any issues or need for assistance to Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintains identification and traceability, inspection & test status, & preservation of all product being assembled.
• Responsible for following company policies and procedures.
• Ensures work area is always clean and organized
• Performs other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor. Job Competencies
• Demonstrates safe work practices in complying with safety policies, rules, or procedures.
• Mechanical aptitude in assembly of Oil & Gas tools.
• Attention to detail oriented.
• Demonstrates proper use of assembly hand tools, pneumatic & electrical tools, & jib or overhead cranes.
• Works efficiently in meeting product quality and delivery.
• Completes all required paperwork or documentation on time.

Requirements Education (technical and/or commercial):

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Job experience (years and type of experience):
• 3 - 5 years’ work experience in assembly of products.
• Prefer 1 – 3 years’ work experience in mechanical assembly of Oil & Gas Industry products. Skills required:
• Forklift operation qualified.
• Knowledge of reading blue prints, work order processing & documentation, precision measuring & testing equipment, & importance of following assembly build instructions.
• Proficient in use of mechanical assembly equipment such as basic hand tools, pneumatic & electrical tools, & jib or overhead cranes.
• Proficient in use of test equipment such as torque gauge, hydraulic press, & pneumatic pressure testing equipment.
• Proficient is use of precision measuring equipment such as scale, micrometers, & calipers for measuring & calculating dimensions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
