Overview Carolina Animal Specialty & Emergency in Hickory, NC is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our rapidly growing specialty and emergency practice. CASE is a multi-specialty practice with specialists in internal medicine, surgery, and 24-hour emergency and critical care. They are supported by our highly trained and compassionate team of technicians, assistants, and client service representatives. We currently have an opening for an evening CSR on our emergency service team. **This position is for night and weekends**
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Greet all patients in a professional and polite manner
- Fulfill customer needs to ensure satisfaction
- Answer phone calls promptly & takes messages
- Resolve patient complaints via phone and email
- Verify customer account information
- Multitask within a fast pace environment
- Provide exceptional customer service
- High school Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in the veterinary field required
- Must be available to work rotating shifts
- Ability to sit, stand and walk for various amounts time
- Must maintain professionalism in high stress situations
- Excellent verbal, written and oral communication
