We are seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to lead and optimize our employee benefits and total rewards programs for more than 2,600 team members nationwide. This is a highly visible leadership role ideal for a strategic HR professional who is passionate about employee wellness, benefits administration, compliance, and enhancing the overall employee experience.
This is a hybrid position - candidate must reside in or around Austin area and commute into office at least 3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
As our Benefits Manager, you will oversee the design, administration, communication, and continuous improvement of all employee benefits programs, including:
- Manage medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, and retirement benefits programs
- Lead annual Open Enrollment, including employee communications, presentations, and education sessions
- Oversee benefits enrollment, eligibility, billing reconciliation, and vendor administration
- Manage the company 401(k) retirement plan and related compliance processes
- Lead ACA administration, audits, and annual reporting requirements
- Partner with brokers and vendors on renewals, compliance, plan design, and enhancements
- Analyze monthly benefits plan performance, utilization, and cost trends
- Recommend program improvements that support employee well-being and business goals
- Develop employee communication campaigns to increase awareness and engagement with benefit offerings
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the Benefits Administrator
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA
- 5 years of Benefits Manager, Benefits Administration, or Total Rewards experience
- Strong expertise in health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and leave administration
- Deep knowledge of ACA compliance, benefits regulations, and reporting
- Previous leadership or people management experience
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Paycom HRIS strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred
