• Requirements :
• 5 years of Private Practice as ENT Provider
• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Active NY State Medical License
• The candidate should specialize in diagnosing and treating disorders of the ear, nose, and be able to address a wide range of conditions related to hearing, balance, voice, swallowing, breathing, allergies, and more.
• Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of current evidence-based practices in otolaryngology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on advancements in the field.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Compassion, empathy, and dedication to providing high-quality care to patients with ear, nose & throat disorders.
• Responsibilities :
• Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations to evaluate patients presenting with ear, nose & throat.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their diagnosis, medical history, symptoms, and preferences.
• Treatment modalities may include medication management, surgical interventions, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other specialists.
• Evaluate and manage hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), vertigo, and balance disorders, including the prescription and fitting of hearing aids and other assistive devices.
• Diagnose and treat voice disorders (dysphonia), swallowing disorders (dysphagia), and other conditions affecting vocal cord function and laryngeal anatomy.
• Assess and manage allergies, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and other conditions affecting the nasal passages and sinuses, including allergy testing, immunotherapy, and sinus surgery.
• Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, potential risks and benefits, and strategies for disease prevention and management.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including audiologists, speech-language pathologists, allergists, oncologists, radiologists, and primary care providers, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
