Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for improvement, analyze business processes, and recommend data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities to include but not limited to:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across various departments
- Create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Develop process flow diagrams, wireframes, and system documentation
- Maintain requirements traceability matrices and change logs
Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder meetings
- Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Act as a liaison between business users and technical development teams
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Conduct gap analysis between current state and desired future state
- Recommend process improvements and automation opportunities
- Support change management initiatives and process standardization efforts
Project Support
- Support project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring business initiatives
- Participate in project status meetings and provide regular progress updates
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and system implementation
- Create training materials and support end-user adoption of new systems
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Information
- Systems, or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, or related analytical role
- Prior experience supporting public sector organizations is preferred
- Experience with business process mapping and improvement methodologies
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word)
- Experience with data analysis tools (SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum)
