Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry Engineer with deep hands-on expertise across the Palantir platform, including ontology design, data ingestion, security, and application development. The ideal candidate will have strong big data foundations, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to design, build, and scale secure, production-grade solutions on Palantir Foundry.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement ontology models aligned with business use cases and enterprise data standards.
- Build and manage data ingestion pipelines, including sync strategies for batch and incremental data loads.
- Develop and optimize data transformation pipelines using Python and modern data frameworks.
- Design scenario-based solutions to solve complex data and platform challenges.
- Build and maintain front-end applications within Palantir using React and Slate.
- Manage code promotion workflows, including branching strategies and deployment through Palantir Marketplace.
- Apply strong data modeling principles for large-scale, complex datasets.
- Implement and enforce security and authorization strategies, including handling sensitive data such as PHI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry.
- Deep expertise in Ontology design, data ingestion, and synchronization strategies.
- Solid understanding of big data architectures and data modeling.
- Proficiency in Python, with practical experience using Polars.
- Experience developing Palantir front-end applications using React and Slate.
- Knowledge of code promotion, branching strategies, and Foundry Marketplace.
- Strong understanding of security concepts, authorization models, and compliance (especially PHI data).
- Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and perform well in scenario-based discussions.
