Description
Planning Phase:
Input validated job scope into a Planning Tool and assign to a planner
Assign technical data to jobs in a Planning Tool (PID#, torque specs, etc)
Support planners in planning efforts through mentoring and technical support
Build shared drive folder structure for new turnarounds
Work with operations to get unit specific data (blind lists, decom lists, chemical cleaning requirements)
Gather quotes from vendors, compile in folders and communicate this info with cost department
Assist planners in resolving field/drawing discrepancies
Validate completed plans in a Planning Tool
Execution Phase:
Coordinate and support the coordinators
Communicate with all parties what is going on in the field; including, but not limited to: contractor/delay/AWR info to cost group, work progress to schedulers, email updates to management
Validate manpower needs through scheduler data and monitoring work fronts in the field
Ongoing Efforts:
Maintain a safe and sanitary workplace
Constantly monitor the customer planning practices and suggest improvements where you see fit
Assist the Turnaround Team with all other duties assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of heavy industrial maintenance experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read drawings, P&ID, Isometric, Schematics, etc.
- Multi-task oriented with good organizational skills and can work in a team environment
- Experience with maintenance, manufacturing, and processing areas of an industrial maintenance environment
- TWIC
- Ability to produce reports, statistical analysis, and other data through use of common software programs such as Excel and other company and client databases
- Supervisory experience, craft experience in Millwright, Boilermaker, Rigging, or Pipefitting preferred
Salary : $70 - $75
