Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and portion guidelines
- Ensure food is prepared efficiently, accurately, and presented in an appealing manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and equipment
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to support smooth operations
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food products properly
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to support timely service
- Adapt to changing priorities and maintain composure during busy service periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Basic knowledge of food preparation methods, kitchen equipment, and safety practices
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and established standards consistently
